Dr. Alexander Kabiri is an anterior segment optometrist, educator, and clinical innovator whose career has been defined by a singular focus: advancing the science and practice of anterior segment care.
After years of clinical practice, teaching, and observing the fragmented landscape of anterior segment education, Dr. Kabiri recognized that no single organization existed to unify the discipline — to connect dry eye with cornea, blepharitis with contact lenses, anterior uveitis with imaging, and regenerative medicine with clinical practice.
OASiS is his answer to that gap. Not a conference. Not a CE company. A professional society — the intellectual and professional home of anterior segment optometry.

OASiS was not created to replace, compete with, or diminish the important work of the American Optometric Association, state associations, or regional societies. Those organizations play indispensable roles in advocacy, licensure, legislation, and professional representation. Our mission is different — and complementary.
